How to cook

1. Rinse 2–3 times in clean water
2. Soak at least 30 minutes (4–6 hours is best)
3. Cook 1 cup with 2½ cups water, covered, for 15–20 minutes
4. Use in place of rice, or for upma, pongal and payasam
